Sarah Dufendach is a 2005 graduate of Gettysburg College, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Latin American Studies. Following graduation, she worked as a legal assistant at a litigation firm in Washington, D.C. She went on to attend Villanova University School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate in May 2012, with pro bono distinction. During law school, Sarah interned with the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, the Pennsylvania Superior Court and the Executive Office of Immigration Review. In her second year of law school, Sarah spent her summer providing legal assistance to low-income migrant laborers with the Pennsylvania Farmworker Project. Sarah also participated in Villanova Law’s Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and Emigrant Services, where she and her clinic partner helped their client win political asylum in the United States. Sarah is currently a volunteer attorney with Face to Face Legal Clinic.
Sarah is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She joined Carpenter, McCadden & Lane, LLP in August of 2012.
