Amy Jo Andrews has been a partner with the firm since its inception in April, 2002. She is a graduate of the University of Scranton with a double major in Political Science and History. She subsequently received her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 1993. She began her legal career in Workers' Compensation as a law clerk for the Bureau of Workers' Compensation in Uniontown , Pennsylvania before joining a large regional defense firm where she obtained shareholder status.
Amy co-chairs the Women in Workers' Compensation Lunch & Learn Series and Pittsburgh Workers' Compensation Lunch & Learn Series. She has written many articles and has lectured frequently, particularly on her successful defense against Workers' Compensation fraud. Amy has also been a frequent speaker at the Bureau of Workers' Compensation Conference in Hershey , PA. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Amy is also a member of the West Virginia State Bar and dedicates her practice to defending employers in litigation of workers' compensation and other employment related matters throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
